With further steps towards the top 15, Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Marco Bezzecchi improved throughout day two of the British Grand Prix, but missed out on a potential Q2 entry by 0.750 seconds after an impressive safe on what would have been a new personal best during Qualifying one.

Meanwhile Philipp Öttl was able to reach the 2:06 mark already in FP3 this morning and eventually ended up just 0.377 seconds behind his teammate ahead of tomorrow’s 18 laps race at 14.30 local time (15.30 CET).

"Today has been a bit better than Friday, but in Qualifying we tried again to go out with the softer tyre option to find some grip, but then I started to have chattering and it was difficult to go faster. Tomorrow we will work with the hard tyre and then we weill see what we can do."

Position: 26th

"To be honest, I’m not too happy about Qualifying, because I should have done my laps alone, but there was too much traffic out there. In the end, it is, like it is. I think we did a good job until now overall after the first Free Practice, which was not ideal and step by step we are getting closer this weekend. Tomorrow in Warm Up I want to improve my riding a bit in order to be well prepared for the race and if this works out, I think we can have a decent race tomorrow."
