Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Marco Bezzecchi and Philipp Öttl worked off another long list of experiments during today’s second official day of testing, which was marked by increasing wind and sunshine at the Circuito de Jerez.

Marco Bezzecchi - 2019

Marco Bezzecchi

Position: 26th – Time: 1:43.034 – Laps: 57

“Today we have been better than yesterday, first of all, because I was riding more. Secondly, we tested a lot of things, of which some were quite positive. But still, we are in trouble, especially with my riding style. Anyway, today I enjoyed it more and tomorrow we will make a back to back test with the other chassis. We did a good job today and expect more tomorrow.”

Ottl - 2019

Philipp Öttl

Position: 30th – Time: 1:43.202 – Laps: 59

“Somehow we don’t progress like I was expecting. Sometimes we do a step forward, then we do one backwards, but we are still learning and understanding. We try a lot, which is important to gather information. Especially in the fast corners I feel I loose quite a lot of time in comparison to the top. Anyway, I want to try it again tomorrow.”
